Woodchurch Driving Group provides carriage driving experiences for disabled adults, some of whom are wheelchair dependent. They normally have three ponies, but the oldest, Benson, was approaching 25 years old, and finding it difficult to cope. The Group wanted to give him a well-earned retirement, but this meant that he needed to be replaced. They therefore approached the CEKFC, and we were delighted to donate the money for their newest arrival. Teddy, a 14.3 hands high Irish Cobb joined the charity last year, sailed through his assessment, and is now helping clients to enjoy the sport.
